Manchester, the city of music, football and (probably) the best nightlife in the UK. Now, it’s also home to EARNT.
We are proud to partnering again with Drake & Morgan in our first venture outside of London where we are joining forces with The Anthologist Manchester.
Similar to it’s London siblings, The Anthologist Manchester serves as a second home for professionals across the city to enjoy themselves over a glass of wine, dinner or Saturday brunch (for that really juicy office gossip. As such, supporting the next generations of successful entrepreneurs and changemakers is incredibly important to the Drake & Morgan family. We will be continuing what we started down south at the earlier this year, by supporting a local organisation called State Talking which provides relatable role models for children at state schools across Manchester to encourage growth, relationships and potential mentorship.
The Anthologist Manchester by Drake and Morgan is kicking off this collaboration by spending the day with the group of young people showing them all that hospitality has to offer. Then, we will be handing over to YOU. We’re asking you to join us in supporting State Talking and as a thank you, you'll earn the first tickets to a brand-new Manchester experience coming in September with Taste Film hosted by The Anthologist.
Life can be overwhelming for all of us, let alone young people starting their own personal and professional adventures. State Talking understand that not all children get the same opportunities to speak with role models and mentors that can help establish a rewarding career and encourage them to pursue greater opportunities. We are asking you to share your journeys, the good, the bad and the non-traditional, with a wonderful group people young people so they can get some ideas on where to start.
EARNT x The Anthologist Manchester by Drake & Morgan are asking you to come and share your professional stories with young people at The Anthologist on Wednesday 3rd July 2024 at 5.30pm.
Together, we can ignite a spark so that all young people of Manchester, can reach their full potential and embark on their positive journey to adulthood.
It’s EARNT so you know the deal…..To say thank you, The Anthologist Manchester by Drake & Morgan are inviting you and a friend to an exclusive, money-can’t-buy, VIP screening with Taste Film in September. Taste Film is an immersive cinema experience which pairs a classic film screening, with the audience eating the food within the film.

State Talking works to raise the aspirations of young people in Manchester.
By pairing pupils with relatable role models we hope to boost their chances of establishing a rewarding career and encourage them to pursue greater opportunities.
So far, they’ve applied this approach to over 3,000 pupils in over 40 schools across Greater Manchester. Your experience could help to inspire even more. If you can’t join us, you can find out more ways to support them here.
“Having relatable role models is crucial for young people to believe that anything is achievable for them, irrespective of their social or cultural background.”

Each participant will give a little talk (approx 4mins each) on things they think are important for the next generation to know to get them started.
We will ask for your top tips and words of wisdom to help make the next steps for these young people seem much less scary and know that even if you tanked your GCSEs, didn’t go to uni, or had no idea what you wanted to be (still don’t?) that it will all be OK.
