If you don’t know Olympic Studios in Barnes, then frankly you should. As a former recording studio, the building welcomed the most iconic artists of the twentieth century – including The Rolling Stones, Massive Attack, David Bowie, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, Prince, The Who, B.B. King, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix…we could go on. Abbey Road may have had the Beatles, but Olympic had everyone else! Plans are afoot to bring back the recording studios on the top floor later this year.

And how do we fit into all of this we hear you ask? Well, the Olympic Studios was heroically transformed into a cinema, Café and Dining Room and Members Club in 2013 and is now not only THE place to see the latest film releases and cult movie classics, but also the place to enjoy cocktails and delicious food.

But I’m not a member we hear you say? Well…..that’s where we come in. Would you like to be? For a month? Well if you know us you also know what we are about to say next. Come and EARN it!

Welcome to EARNT x Olympic Studios

Olympic Studios, is next in joining EARNT to show exactly how brands can make a real and tangible impact in their community and the wider world.

On July 1st we are bringing together the Olympic Studios and Barnes Primary School (our first cause partner a year ago) so that those who step up and help the school with some much needed maintenance, really become Olympics Studio VIP’s.

The thank yous are really special and for one lucky volunteer there is ONE queue jump for anyone currently on the waitlist for the Members Club. What’s more rock’n’roll than getting special treatment AND maybe even jumping than queue for what you’ve achieved and how much you have helped?

Nothing.

  • How?

On Saturday 1st July, we need 40 volunteers to join us at Barnes Primary School. We will be getting out the paint brushes and hammers to help get the school in ship shape for next term. We will have two sessions starting at either 9am or 1pm. Together we will be sprucing up the playgrounds and classrooms, meeting new people, having a great day and most importantly, supporting the community.

  • Why?

Many state funded schools sadly have to rely on the kindness and energy of their community because the resources they have are not enough to do everything that’s needed. By helping out with a lick of paint here and some weeding there, we can make sure their limited funds that Barnes Primary have will go even further so the school can focus on what it does best, shaping the next generation.

  • What?

Everyone who takes part gets a golden ticket to access the Members Club throughout August as many times as you like. Already a member? Well on top of access to the club, you can also enjoy 50% off dinner for you and a guest. One lucky volunteer will win an exclusive opportunity to jump the very long queue and go to the top of the wait list to join as a Member.
