For nearly 140 years, Olympia has been the iconic London venue, hosting an endless mix of events that’ve inspired, wowed, and brought people together. Think next-level consumer experiences, show-stopping fashion, cutting-edge tech events, and massive, vibrant trade shows. Basically, there’s something for everyone, and they’re still making history as they step into the next chapter.
Olympia are breathing new life into this legendary heritage site, transforming it into a next-gen destination for culture, creativity, and entertainment. Bigger, bolder, and ready to make waves. Here’s the exciting part: They are doing this with EARNT.
PILLAR HALL
D3 Collective, the hospitality group founded by Des Gunewardena, are behind the bold new drinks-and-dining destination set to open at Pillar Hall, inside Olympia’s iconic Grade II*-listed building.
The details of Pillar Hall are still under wraps, but we can tell you, it’s going to be 30,000 sq ft of hospitality unlike any we’ve seen before. This isn’t going to be one restaurant, but a multi-faceted space with venues including a hidden speakeasy, a (stunning) central bar and main restaurant, as well as more casual dining spaces, an outdoor terrace, and, to top it all off, an insane events space hosting live music for up to 600 guests yet. It’s going to be big. HUGE. And we’re making you VIP’s who’ll find out everything about this incredible venue before anyone else.
Together with D3 Collective and Olympia, we’re giving you the chance to EARN an exclusive sneak preview of what’s coming at Pillar Hall. You’ll be invited to a one-off, VIP pop-up at Olympia with the team from D3 Collective who will be showcasing what's to come when they open later this year. You’ll be the first to sample items from the cocktails and food menus as well as having a night to remember.
But that’s not all. You’ll also be added to the D3 VIP list, giving you access to soft launch invites, priority booking, and exclusive events after they open. How? By giving a little something back of course.
Together, we’re taking over the Age UK H&F Summer BBQ, turning it into a day that shows what true hospitality looks like. We’ll be hosting the event, making sure every guest has the best time and we want you to be part of it.

What do you need to do?
We need you to join us in making the Age UK H&F Spring BBQ the best one yet. This time we have a little something for everyone, if you love getting out there and shining, come join us on the day but if doing things on your own is more your speed, we’ve got you covered too. We’re sure some of you love both but please only sign up to one activity!
Hosts with the most
We need you to join us on Saturday 10th May to set up and serve, party and pack down. We’ll be making sure everyone who attends has the best day which will include getting everything ready, manning the stalls and tidying up at the end.
There are two slots, 10am to 1pm and 1pm to 4pm.

Cakes with care
We also need you to get your bake on! We need delicious treats to serve and sell and raise some much-needed money to support the Age UK H&F community. You’ll need to drop these off the day before on Friday 9th May between 2-5pm.

We have a lot to learn from the older members of our community. They are funnier, smarter and obviously much, much wiser. Making sure they are looked after is something the team at Olympia and of course, here at EARNT, prioritise.
Age UK H&F is an independent local charity supporting older people across the borough. They offer so much support to these often overlooked members of the community, providing a wide range of practical services and activities that aim to enable people to maintain their independence, sustain their physical and mental health, and reduce loneliness and isolation.
Let’s give the older generation the love, laughs, and support they’ve earned with Age UK H&F.
FAQs
When is the Pillar Hall Pop-up?
This is SO exclusive, we don’t know yet but it will be this summer and you will DEFINITELY be the first to try it all. As soon as the date is confirmed, we’ll be in touch.
What about the VIP list?
You’ll be added to the D3 Collective VIP list which means that as announcements are released, invitations for the soft launches are sent out, you’ll be included in all of this. It’s so top secret, we can’t tell you any more than that.
What will we be doing at the Age UK BBQ?
If you join us on the day at the Age UK Spring BBQ, we are going to be doing a bit of everything. We will set up and make everything look wonderful and ready for the guests. You’ll be making sure everyone is ok, serving hot dogs, selling cakes and keeping the drinks flowing. Then for the second group, you’ll also be helping us tidy up and pack up at the end (as well as all the fun stuff too!).
What do you need to know for the baking?
It’s not a party without cakes and we need you to bake some amazing cakes which we can sell on the day. We need you to make at least 20 individual portions of cookies (make them big), brownies (make them OTT) or whatever you bring. Please include a list of ingredients and allergens when you drop them off.
Age UK H&F is an independent local charity and they need to raise money to support all the activities and services they offer to their community. The better the cakes, the more money we’ll raise so make them special.
How to support if you can’t volunteer?
Everyone is welcome at the BBQ itself so if volunteering isn’t possible you can pop along and have a go on the tombola and buy some of those delicious cakes. Get your ticket here.
