Businesses can care about the community in many ways…
The Pelican believes that a good pub should be the cornerstone of any local community and this is at the heart of everything they do. They have a strong focus on local producers who use sustainable production methods because they understand the impact their decisions have.
So they partnered with EARNT and, to say thank you for caring about our impact with them and looking after the city by helping clear up the Thames, participants EARNT a Pelican Tankard and their first free beer each time they visited, for a month.
Small Changes Over Time Equals Big Results
At least 200 tonnes of plastic is removed from the Thames each year. We can all make a difference and while you may think one litter pick wont change anything, it’s hundreds of picks that make up that very impactful, total. More importantly, once you have picked up your 1000th wet wipe, we know you will think twice about using them again let alone flushing them away to end up in our waters.
